DETAILED WORK EXPERIENCE:

ACTIVE STOCK TRADER:

Self Employed, Bellingham, WA: 2010 to Present.

·                     I actively trade Stocks and ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) on a daily basis, using a complex suite of technical tools and an advanced and highly customized live trading platform (Etrade Pro).

·                     I have created unique tools, systems, protocols, and rules for quick, consistent, and objective decision making while trading in volatile and uncertain markets.

·                     Perform daily comprehensive intermarket analysis using advanced technical charting programs, complex (live) data tables, and extensive narrative information and economic data from a wide variety of sources to make informed, empirical, and timely trading decisions.

·                     Ongoing development of my original “Risk/Reward Trading Multi-Tool”. Designed around the dual concepts of effective risk management and objective/empirical decision making, the tool is an integrated series of spreadsheets using MS Excel, and is designed to enhance one’s ability to make sound and fast trading decisions that adhere to the user’s pre-determined trading plan and risk management strategy. The tool is easily customizable and calculates a wide variety of possible trading outcomes utilizing minimal user data input.

·                     This tool also includes integrated “support/resistance” and “price alert” data tables designed to facilitate quick decision making, and for easily entering, organizing, and using key price data on a daily basis while compiling critical historical data over time in a clutter-free manner. I plan to add other tools and features over time. This tool saves me at least one hour of prep time each morning, and greatly reduces indecision, response time, and “information overload” through efficient organization. Importantly, the tool reduces the likelihood of costly losses springing from subjective (emotionally-driven) snap decisions that vary from an empirically established trading plan with built-in risk management protocols.
